Rock Carpet ™?

Rock Carpet™ is a new idea I came across at the local Home Show. Rock Carpet™ consists of a pebble-sized stone that is spread in a thin layer and set permanently in place with UV resistant epoxy. The resulting attractive surface is stain, and slip resistant. With this surface topping, you can create custom designs or inset a corporate logo within the stone.

The base stone is pea-gravel sized river rock. Imported crushed marble and granite is also available. Available in 16 different basic colors and additional coloring options available, you can create a color combination to fit your tastes. Since the rock is thicker than a normal coating of epoxy, you are free to use your artistic imagination with colors and possibly other types of objects. I would have marbles mixed in my floor.

Rock Carpet™ maintains it's lustrous shine without buffing or waxing. Cleanup is easy using standard household cleaning products. Simply reseal every 5-6 years (indoor applications) or 3 years (outdoor applications) to maintain the beautiful appearance.

A perfect surface for Garages, driveways, basements, commercial showrooms, patios and more. You can also embed fiber optic lights within the design for a totally unique look.
